MARIA CHATZI
Maria Chatzi graduated from the Law Department of the National Kapodistrian University of Athens (Degree, 2002) and the Public Administration Department of the Panteion University (Master, 2007). She received her PhD from the Public Administration Department of the Panteion University (2023). Her PhD thesis is titled: Law and art: freedom (as a limit) of art. As a lawyer she has handled mostly cases of public procurement law and commercial arbitration. and she has participated in related publications as well.
Her research interests include matters regarding the relation between law and art, as well as matters of digital humanities (she is a member of the DYAS/Dariah-gr Network).
She is a member of the Laboratory Teaching Staff of the Athens School of Fine Arts (ASFA), Department of Art Theory and History, in the subject area “Legal Civilisation” (since 2018).
She has also participated in the design and implementation of the following research projects funded by the European Union [(within the National Strategic Reference Framework (ESPA)]: “Development of the Higher Education – ASFA”, “Quality Assurance Unit – ASFA”, “Heraclitus II – ASFA”, “DARIAH-GR / DYAS – ASFA”, “APOLLONIS – ASFA” and “Support of the Quality Assurance Unit of ASFA”.
